SC Whitmore School Announces 2017-2018 Valedictorian, Salutatorian

SC Whitmore School announced the Valedictorian and Salutatorian for the 2017-2018 school year on Friday.

The 2018 Valedictorian is Heather Kidd of Clemson, SC. Heather is the recipient of the Blue Diamond Scholarship and the Palmetto Fellow Scholarship, as well as many other institutional scholarships. She plans to attend Clemson University in the fall and major in Engineering.

The 2018 Salutatorian is Hope Salyer of Lexington, SC. Hope is the recipient of the Blue Diamond Scholarship and the Life Scholarship as well as many other institutional scholarships. She plans to attend Lander University’s Honor College in the fall and major in business management and minor in pre-law.

SCWS will hold its graduation on Saturday, June 2nd at 11am at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center. Shennice Cleckley, a Midlands entrepreneur, author and motivational speaker, will deliver the commencement address.
