Cara Mathis

This is my seventeenth year as an English teacher! It is so fun to explore literature with my students and help them improve their writing skills. I love to exchange book recommendations to find new genres.

I live in Greenville, which is where I grew up. When I am not teaching, you can find me on the Swamp Rabbit Trail with my two silver labs training for my next 5k or half marathon. I also enjoy needlepointing and traveling. I get to hang out with my family often since thy live in Greenville, too!
