Ebone’ Adams
SCWS Principal

I was born and raised in Columbia, SC. I moved to Mckinney, Texas with my family in 2017. I received my undergraduate degree from the College of Charleston and my Ed.S. in School Counseling from the University of South Carolina. I started my career as a school counselor in 2009 in a virtual school setting, then transitioned to Director of School Counseling in 2011, then to Assistant Principal in 2015 and Director of Student Services in 2017.
Working in a virtual school environment helped me understand the importance of having educational options such as virtual school because every student has different learning needs. I enjoy observing students develop into independent learners and gain the confidence and discipline to succeed in such an educational setting.
I love working at SC Whitmore because our students have the opportunity to start with a “clean slate”. No matter what they have experienced in the past that has interfered with their education, we offer them a second chance to work towards their true potential. SC Whitmore teachers, faculty and staff have our student’s best interest at heart. As true advocates for our students, our mission is to provide the best, high quality education and to prepare our students for success beyond high school.
