Melissa Green

I was born in Charleston, raised in Reevesville and have been a Columbia resident for over twenty years. I’ve experienced the joy and success of raising two children who are now happy adults. I enjoy reading, home renovations, cooking new dishes and spending time with my family.

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of South Carolina and a Master’s in Education from Columbia College. I’ve been a National Board Certificated educator since 2009. I began the first five years of my teaching career at the middle school level and have worked in high schools to date.

Our school’s learning platform reaches students where they are, helps them fill in the gaps and allows flexibility that the traditional school setting cannot offer. I am happy to be a member of this team to help every student earn their high school diploma and be successful beyond.
