Graduation Coach

Originally, I am from Boston, Ma. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Salem State University. Afterward, I worked in both a non-profit and a traditional school setting as a counselor and a facilitator of various programs. I have very fond memories of working with my many students and families. I earned my master’s degree in School Counseling from Cambridge College in Cambridge, Ma. In 2020, I completed a certificate in Coaching Children and Adolescents at the University of New Hampshire. I worked as a School Counselor and a Swimming Coach in a traditional high school and middle school in Ma.
In August 2019, I became the Graduation Coach for SCWS. I am grateful to be able to working with so many wonderful students. I am also very proud to be a small piece of the puzzle at SCWS. I collaborate with so many caring and professional staff members.
My role as a Graduation Coach is to remind our students how wonderful they are and help them reach their goal of graduation from SCWS. My favorite Quote is: It always seems impossible until it is done.- Nelson Mandela. Every day I try to remind my students that they can be successful. All of those positive small steps do add up.
Spending time with my family and friends is important to me. I have a son, Quintin (Quin) and two dogs. We spend a lot of time outdoors, hiking, bike riding and kayaking. I enjoy swimming, gardening, and reading.
