FBLA 2026

Columbia, SC — SC Whitmore School (SCWS) is proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of its students at recent Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) competitions across the state.

Students Luciana Hunter and Giana Hunter earned first place in the Sales Presentation competitive event at the FBLA Regional Competition, held at Abbeville High School. The Sales Presentation event challenges students to create a unique product and deliver a persuasive sales pitch to a panel of judges, demonstrating strong skills in communication, marketing strategy, creativity, and professionalism. Their first-place finish reflects their preparation, teamwork, and business acumen.

In addition, SC Whitmore School proudly recognizes Alayna Harrell for representing SCWS at the FBLA competition held at Spring Valley High School. Alayna earned recognition as an event winner, showcasing exceptional leadership, dedication, and professionalism throughout the competition.

These accomplishments highlight SC Whitmore School’s commitment to providing students with meaningful opportunities to develop career-ready skills through Career and Technical Education and student leadership organizations like FBLA.

Mrs. Holley, SC Whitmore School FBLA Advisor and Career Technology and Education Teacher said, “As a result of their first-place finish, the SCWS team has qualified to advance to the SC FBLA State Leadership Conference, which will take place March 22–25, 2026, in North Charleston, South Carolina. At the state conference, students from across South Carolina will compete in a wide range of business and leadership events.”

FBLA is the official Career and Technical Student Organization for the Management and Entrepreneurship career cluster. The organization’s mission is to prepare students for careers in business and leadership by fostering academic excellence, professional development, and community engagement.

SC Whitmore School Executive Director Kim Dunbar said, “We are so proud of these students and their hard work and dedication. They continue to exhibit leadership which will serve them well on whatever path they choose after graduation.”
